Healthier. Stronger. Wiser.

The Pandemic is Ongoing
We acknowledge that SARS-CoV-2 is an ongoing threat to the health of everyone, and especially to children, the elderly, and other vulnerable individuals.
We recognize that when we care for our health we are caring for our Community. Every time our awareness helps stop the spread of COVID-19 we are saving lives.
We have the power to protect each other!
-
Prevention is Key
While scientists and medical researchers continue to study and learn more about SARS‑CoV‑2 it is undeniable that prevention is key to ensuring long-term health. Research shows that among other concerns, exposure to COVID-19 suppresses immune function which leaves us vulnerable to other pathogens and long-term health consequences such as pediatric diabetes, lung damage, and brain impact.
The best way to avoid Long Covid, is to avoid Covid.
-
Masking for Ourselves and Each Other
All program participants are encouraged to wear quality respirators (N95 or KN95 masks preferred) during indoor classes. We gladly provide these for any who need them.
Some classes are MASK REQUIRED. Please refer to the class description when registering.
Exceptions for very young children and those who have medical, sensory, or other needs that preclude mask-wearing.
-
Protecting Marginalized Communities
COVID-19 disproportionately affects Black, Brown, and Indigenous people, as well as the LGBTQ+ community, unhoused people, and those with chronic or other illnesses. As public mitigation efforts have all but vanished and legislators seek to restrict the rights of minorities it is up to we the people to come together and protect the vulnerable.
No human being is disposable! When we stand up for each other, we stand up for ourselves.
-
We Live in Community, Not in Fear
We understand that acknowledging the reality of the ongoing pandemic is widely perceived to be “living in fear.” It is our belief that accepting the truth of the dangers of COVID-19, adhering to the science, and taking steps to reduce transmission strengthens our Community, and provides us with greater purpose.
Healthy minds and bodies lead to healthy relationships and societies.
